how do you decide to add your own content, to use modified private label content, to use outside ghostwriters/writers for hire, to use resell rights material, to use articles from other people?

ok, if you are putting you on the line...this is your chance to shine and you are the expert, or if you are early in your career, you should write pretty much everything yourself.

you need to learn to write a book, articles, copy for selling and marketing. it's a big part of internet markeitng. to rely on common knowledge or commonly agreed on knowledge for mechanical or organic things like gardening or building things or whatever, it doesn't matter. you grow a garden you bake a cake. but when it is what makes you DIFFERENT, UNIQUE, when it is your USP you have to write your own material because it's what you have asked to do.

but

if you aren't writing something that matters to a significant extent you have a lot of latitude as to what you can do.

i had one of my books ghostwritten. the gal did a good job. it was cheap. it wasn't kevin hogan and it wasn't great and it didn't read like kevin hogan....it had punctuation and upper case letters....

so i had to modify the book so it sounded like me

by the time i was done i had a part great book, and a good book. very inconsistent. i will never do it again.

i've used ghostwriters and writers for hire for this course, for research, for articles based on my research or other people's research. then i take it and shape it into something that is 2-3 times bigger. but this person/people needs to be someone you trust.

on some subjects (gardening, internet marketing, basic hypnosis, legal stuff, and so on) again, it doesn't matter because it's all pretty much going to be the same or similar. only the interpretative elements will vary from person to person.

but if you are going to write on covert persuasion....it's 100% you.

i really like resell rights products. they are cool because you can put your links into other people's work. takes no time. you get affiliate commissions and if the material is good you win and so do your customers. the same is true for plr as long as you modify previous to sale.

for articles, i have about 5% of the articles on my website written by other people. i think it's just smart to have articles by people in your profession on your website...search engines find them, ethically on your page. i like that. but to have most of your content on your authority site from people in your profession is not a great thing.

i've bought a lot of plr stuff over the years. i toss about 95% of it and i have used about 5% of it that was quite good. usually this is on common knowledge topics.

so what do you do?

start off by writing your own stuff and getting articles from others in your profession, maybe 1/10. but keep your stuff 90% you while you are building your brand.

people need to latch onto your personality.

you can listen to the same song performed by 10 different bands and the difference is huge. the music can be identical but group b or singer q simply had personality, persona, and that is YOU.

practice writing for a few years and then when you get time look at other options but you need to be able to write your own copy, your own books and your own articles.

it is also one i'm not confident of my answer will be the right one, so i'll tell you what i would personally do in this situation....because i don't know and guessing could have long term drawdown's.

i'd get another server. put up a site on that server and work on the project from there. then if you get smacked, it doesn't matter.

this question is best for the people in the warrior forum. lots of smart people there who don't necessarily earn much money from the internet but they are up to the second on cloaking, nuance's of google penalties (because they happen to them...they gamble...and sometimes lose).

The most important thing you can do is

create product

and/or

build a fan base

you've got too many tools. think about the tools that you will STICK with and start there.

enjoy the process. don't try and get rich quick. it just doesn't happen ethically or morally. try to get rich slow and allow yourself to become amazingly valuable to people. let them talk about you in such a way that it's hard for them to think about anything but good stuff to say about you.

those people will become your clients, your customers, your friends and you will all help each other.
