you got the 7 items correct. everything else you noted was speculation and all of this was dealt with in nauseating details in the email of may 2 and may 3, including, purpose, general objectives, specific outcomes. this week we have the tactical and you missed none of the steps. what you speculated on reddit and so forth....don't speculate.

please only put links on facebook and twitter (or anywhere) if the information is valuable or entertaining to the listener/viewer. i did more plugs yesterday than i have in a year. some of the video's were informative, but some were not.

when you twitter or facebook about someone, the material has to be GOOD. the world is judging your judgement.

you can't put junk up and ask your team to comment on it. you can't put average up. it has to be EXCELLENT (see instructions in 5/3 email)

on all of the bookmarking sites, if you bookmark junk, you will be "buried" and your reputation will be shot. don't make the mistake. this is one time your reputation is just as important as your team.

if something a member does, especially on audio, sucks, then do NOT direct traffic to it. instead, tell the person you listened, tell them what you expected and what was/wasn't there.

i'm getting ready to make the rounds for my 8 and know that there is a different bar for audio than video. video can be entertaining or sexy or captivating and still have marginal information or value of some kind and yes you can send someone there, but you can't send people to an advertisement.

there's no need to talk about your business or what you do. it is obvious. you are on video doing it!

so i will either plug you on facebook today or you will get an email telling you why i didn't.

twitter changes the long link, which if it's correct to begin with, will be correct when twitter shortens it. if the link is wrong, then of course it will be shortened incorrectly

Instead of linking with my facebook, I'm going to offer some Professional Speaker Course style feedback.

A lot of you guys want to redo the audio's right away so your teammates want to put links out for you.

I encourage you to listen to all of the people's audio's below and match it to the feedback.

I know this is just about everyone's first shot at recording. I think you've discovered it's not easy, and, it's not easy to be interesting.

PHIL- Nice job. You started out with a purpose in mind and a few keypoints you wanted to hit. Valuable information. Good as is.

LISA- Wow. I had no idea you could present. You did done do good. You have passion about your subject (usually equated with income). Get rid of the word "next" as it is redundant and not necessary. Valuable information. Good as is

JJ- Need to begin with a BANG. Start out with the purpose stated and then go from there. Putting in visualization stuff with a content recording is not going to work. You reference your own name several times. Not good strategy. It's you and me. That's it. You ramble, which can be OK but not until you've established a footing in your listeners mind, i.e. "why am I listening to this." at about 10 seconds you will have captured or lost the viewer/listener. Redo this, stick with the MEAT. don't talk about the fluff stuff. give them the best you got. make your recording as the coach, coaching coaches. so speak with authority. specifics. give a lot of information. Use a 4-7 point outline like Lisa did and have a specific intention, in mind for your communication. You will do great.

ANTHONY and JJ - JJ, dammit you set up Anthony to be a genius and don't do this for yourself?!?!?!? What a great interviewer you are. Anthony. You are eating the microphone. Did you listen to this interview? Pull it and see if you can get jj to do this again with you. get that recording volume level fixed. jj sounded fine, with whatever he was using, but your side is just not listenable. you appear to be interesting but the distortion is too intense and echoey.

ROB-- no file - You've been throught the Professional Speaker Course and I've heard you evolve into a solid speaker.

BOB - no file.

LYNN - Not bookmarkable. Don't start at the end. The victory. Start at the beginning. Give me 10 or 20 minutes on something other than victory and make the 10 minutes hard hitting, high content, solid information that would cause me to crave more. You are listenable and will do fine but I need you to start at the beginning or on any of your topics. But deliver a download to my brain. No fluff. You will be just fine.

CHRISTIAN - Very easy to listen to. "Things I don't enjoy when I travel.." This is all about your experience, which is fine but.... Why am I listening?

What is the set up? What specific benefits will I derive from listening to the rest of this audio. (I listened to the whole thing) You have the same style that Steve Chambers uses. It's very good. But this audio contains nothiing for me. It's a literal look at the tickets from the restaurants you went to. Instead, you want to talk about "Things you hate most when you travel and how to never experience them again", except, be specific in that information so I can forward that to someone to listen to. Like JJ and Lynn, you have all the tools, you just need focus and that 4-7 point outline. (about 50 words written on a sheet of paper)

DARRYL - you need to begin the audio with you speaking. I had to put headphones on, which I rarely have handy, to hear this recording. Use a microphone. I like your easy going style. You are easy to listen to once I can hear you! Your information was good and as soon as you have YOU talking first, setting the stage, drop me a note and I'll put you up on my facebook and twitter account. the q/a is fine. (he needs to be on a mic as well, or the same mic) nice job, but rerecord with a set up and with better volume

i'm not going to go into giving more feedback as that is for the Professional Speaker Course and I haven't blocked off that kind of extra hourage. but hopefully this will help. EVERYONE I listened to will be fine. A few of you guys have the potential to be pro's (keynote quality) the rest are all going to be plenty good and there isn't one person who I'd be worried about long term
